Based in Carharrack, with both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Film from Falmouth University, Claire works across several creative disciplines.
She is a freelance sound editor & designer for film and video through Porth Sound and also teaches piano to students of all ages.
Claire’s portfolio of projects ranges from documentary film collaborations with Sir Tony Robinson and Falmouth Film graduates, to social change motivated projects with Made Open Communications in Cornwall.
Her experience has ranged from corporate work in the UK & US with Channel 4, Apple Music and Beagle Media, to collaborative work with international filmmakers and researchers.
Claire has a variety of experiences from helping Made Open Communications achieve B Corp accreditation, managing small film crews, guest lecturing at Falmouth University and teaching peripatetic piano lessons.
Claire has been teaching beginner to intermediate piano lessons in Cornwall since 2016.
She is a classically trained, Grade 8 pianist with over 3 years experience of tutoring students through practical exams Grades 1-5, with 100% pass rate.
Claire teaches notation reading, popular and classical piano performance, aural skills and sight reading.
